Our family has been gluten free ever since we found out our eldest daughter has Celiac disease. It was a huge lifestyle change, and it took us quite some time to figure it all out. That was over five years ago, and I am still always on the lookout for new delicious gluten free (GF) finds!
Every Friday I’m hoping to post a new Friday (GF) Find. Today’s find? Forno de Minas Pão de Queijo; otherwise known as Brazilian cheese bread! According to Wikipedia, “Brazilian cheese bread is a small, baked cheese roll or cheese bun, a popular snack and breakfast food in Brazil”. We found these at Walmart and they are labeled gluten free. They cook from frozen in 30 minutes, and my husband and I both thought they were quite tasty! My husband is from Colombia, and he says they make something similar there as well – so he was particularly excited about this new find! Next time I’d like to try making these naturally GF buns from scratch. This All Recipes Pâo de Queijo recipe got great reviews!
Do you have a tasty GF find that you’d like to share? I’d love to hear it!
