Friday’s (GF) Find: Homemade Ginger Cookies

The GF Friday Find for today isn’t something you can purchase, but rather something that you can make! Today I’d like to share a recipe from one of my favourite gluten free sites: Gluten Free on a Shoestring.

When we started the gluten free lifestyle, the thing I struggled with the most was finding recipes for delicious GF baking and treats. I love to bake, and not all of my tried and true gluten recipes seemed to easily transfer over by swapping in gluten free flour. Then I found Gluten Free on a Shoestring! I can honestly say that we have enjoyed everything that I’ve made so far from this site.

Over the holidays I wanted to try a few new treat/dessert recipes for the various family dinners we had planned. I tried the Soft and Chewy Gluten Free Ginger Cookies – and they were a hit! They are quick and easy to throw together, and the recipe doesn’t call for a lot of crazy ingredients that you have to search the stores for. I will definitely be making these again!
